Your opportunity:

• As a key member of the Medical Education Team, the Medical Education Officer (MEO) provides educational expertise and leadership in the planning and delivery of a range of medical education support programs for prevocational medical graduates.
• As WBA Manager the MEO is responsible for managing the procedural and operational aspects of the Hervey Bay Hospital AMC WBA program.
• The MEO is responsible for ensuring continued accreditation requirements as a Primary Allocation Centre are met for PGY1 and PGY2 doctors with the Prevocational Medical Education Authority Queensland (PMAQ) and the Australian Medical Council for the WBA program.

Temporary Part Time Position (30.4 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for up to 2 years.

Covid 19 Vaccination: It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccination prior to the 30th September 2021 and a second dose by 31st October 2021 to enter, work in or provide a service in any Wide Bay facility. Proof of vaccination will be required prior to commencement.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $145,870 p.a., comprising salary between $119,129 – $127,848 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (PO5) (Temporary Part Time Position, 30.4 hours p.f., from date of appointment for up to 2 years) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
