White Elephant Resorts Hiring for Front Office Manager at Nantucket, Massachusetts Full Time

The Front Office Manager is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the Front Office, Bell Services, Concierge and Pool/Recreation staff in an attentive, efficient and courteous manner, providing all guests with quality service while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. 

As a leader, applicant must embody qualities that help him/her inspire our dynamic team while being open-minded, have self-awareness, be authentic and have positive interpersonal communication skills. 

Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a resort style hotel.
 
 Other important aspects of this position include the ability to:

• Promote the professional growth and development of the entire Front Office team 
• Foster strong inter-departmental relations and integrate the team with other operational departments
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times
• Schedule and facilitate regular departmental training
• Be aware of all Hotel services/features 
• Work a minimum of two days a week in reservations and any other open property, in a support role, when the hotel is closed

Applicants should also work well under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, be organized, flexible, self-motivated, and have a great sense of humor. Experience with computers and Microsoft Office essential.
