As a manager of the business, the Sales & Accounts Manager is an experienced, highly motivated and self-managed employee, responsible for all aspects of sales, key account management and marketing. The Sales & Accounts Manager is also responsible for creating and regularly reviewing Sales Strategies and Plans. This position doesn’t currently have any direct s, however, this may change as the business grows.

Objective

• Meet or exceed sales targets to drive revenue growth for the company.
• Maintain and expand relationships with key accounts to increase customer satisfaction and retention.
• Identify and capitalise on opportunities to acquire new customers.
• Execute effective marketing campaigns that generate leads and support sales efforts.
• Improve the company’s online presence and drive organic traffic to the website through effective SEO strategies and website optimisation.
• Sales Planning and Forecasting: Develop and implement sales plans and budgets, and accurately forecast sales performance to support strategic decision-making.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales and account management initiatives.
• Monitor sales performance metrics, analyse results, and identify opportunities for improvement in sales processes, strategies, and tools.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in sales, marketing, and SEO to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Qualifications/Education:

• Proven track record of success in sales and account management.
• Previous experience as a Sales Manager.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and SEO.
• Proven experience creating and executing business sales plans.
• Heavy vehicle industry and product knowledge (advantage)

• Prepare and present regular sales s and forecasts to management and team meetings.
• Prepare and send regular sales s and updates to management.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and generate leads.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments and external contacts, such as marketing, product development and I.T to support sales efforts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
• Manage sales budgets and expenses effectively.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve sales processes, strategies, and performance.
