Job Summary:
The Dishwasher is responsible for washing and assuring the cleanliness of all dishes, cooking equipment, and kitchen facilities within the restaurant. As part of the kitchen team, you’ll be responsible for communicating with cooks, banquet staff, room service staff, and fellow dishwashers to ensure priority items are washed first, and that all items are put away in the appropriate location. Expected Pay Range: $20.00 – $21.25 / hour
Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time and Part Time
Job Responsibilities:
Operate a commercial dishwasher, including loading and unloading dishes and running the machine properly.
Scrub pots and pans and wash any other dishes that cannot be put in the dishwasher.
Mop floors.
Clean and tidy kitchen work areas.
Take out trash.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to bend, lift, and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
High School education or equivalent, or prior kitchen experience preferred.
Reliable personal transportation.
Ability to perform all job duties.
Food Handlers permit preferred, required prior to or upon hire.
Team player.
