Whispir Hiring for Prototype Assistant – Internship Job at Melbourne Full Time

About the position:
We’re looking for a prototype assistant to help charities, NFPs, aid organisations, and change-makers see how Whispir can support their engagements. You’ll be working in the Engage Humanity project – an initiative within Whispir that is seeking to marry the capabilities we have with social impact.
Your role will be to quickly learn our software and build mocks and prototype solutions for testing and sharing to help the sector.
This role would suit a designer with tech knowledge, an emerging engineer who understands APIs and thinks visually, or a curious maker who is interested in no-code.
Key responsibilities:

• Learning, playing with, and building workflows, mocks, and sequences with Whispir’s software
• Adapting existing workflows from our library to suit the NFP, charity, and for-purpose sector
• Sharing and creating processes and knowledge around what worked (and didn’t work) as you build

Note: This role is 1 day p.w. for 12 weeks (there is some flexibility on how the day can be allocated)

About you:

• Curious about social impact, technology, and its future potential
• A basic technical understanding of how automation and integration works (processes, sequences, APIs, and decision trees)
• You’ve built things before – either designs, Figma sketches, process maps, your own website or app
• Comfortable working remotely and independently. Direction and support will be given, but we need you to be able to capture questions and feedback in batches as face-time will be limited
