Whispering Springs Wilderness Retreat is Ontario’s premiere glamping destination. We provide guests with elegant log-framed safari tents (king-size beds and soaker tubs included) as well as a private outdoor dining area. Amenities at the resort include The Watering Hole Guest Bar & Lounge, a lodge-inspired guest pavilion, saltwater pool, outdoor hot tub, barrel sauna, lawn games, beach volleyball, and more. We also host many large weddings, corporate events, yoga retreats and live music events.

Job Description

• Working on a team to get all of our Safari Tents looking immaculate between when guest check out at 11 am and new guests check in at 3 pm.
• Stripping linens and towels for laundry and replacing with fresh
• Vacuuming floors and cleaning all surfaces
• Organizing and tidying accommodations and ensuring nothing is missing
• Laundry
• General cleaning and tidying of common areas such as dining pavilion, guest lounge areas, picnic gazebos, and more.

Qualifications

• A proven background of housekeeping or janitorial experience
• Demonstrate teamwork and good communication skills
• Record of excellent customer service and communication
• Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, sun, rain)
• Able to prioritize time-sensitive tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Flexible hours with high availability including weekends and holidays
• Able to safely operate a golf cart (G class license mandatory)

Compensation

This role starts at $16/hr with room for growth based on performance.

Experience:

• Hotel Housekeepers: 1 year (preferred)
• Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Drivers license (required)
