We are seeking for a top-notch Human Resources Director to provide leadership and expertise to our talented team members. The successful candidate will ensure that human resources programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned to our overall business objectives. They must also have the ability to not only manage programs, but provide strategic direction to allow us to attract and retain the best team members possible.

Responsibilities

• Leads compliance with and has extensive working knowledge of all existing regulatory, legal, and governmental labor and benefits requirements. Anticipates and resolves litigation risks and represents the company at any personnel related hearings and investigations .

• Supports management and supervisors by providing sound human resource direction, advice, and counsel. Serves as the point of contact for employment relations, grievances and violations, invoking disciplinary action when necessary.
• Oversees the company’s performance management system, including compensation and incentive plans, assessing employee performance and reviews, training and development, skills training, and new employee orientation. Responsible for program review/modification to maintain consistency and alignment with company values

• Manages the overall talent acquisition process through employee recruiting, selection and succession planning. Assists managers with the selection of qualified candidates for vacant positions.
• Promotes employee retention by managing all employee rewards and recognition programs.
• Conducts and coordinates various training programs that will prevent litigation risks as well as enhance employee education and leadership.

• Directs and leads the design and implementation of company compensation and benefit plans including competitive compensation and wage structures, health and welfare benefit plans, retirement and profit sharing, that meet company values in a cost effective manner.

• Provides guidance and oversight to the HR team.
• Oversees corporate safety program to assure compliance with regulatory requirements as well as to fulfill our corporate responsibility to provide a safe working environment.

Skills

• Proven experience as HR Director, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices.
• Full understanding of the way an organization operates to meet its objectives.
• Ability to assist in the day-to-day tasks as well as think strategically.
• Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
• A business acumen partnered with attention to the human element
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills with high ethical standards.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detailed knowledge of and experience in the design and implementation of compensation, wage and incentive programs.
• Detailed knowledge of and experience in the design and implementation of employee welfare and benefit programs, and the proven ability to negotiate and implement such programs.
• Prior experience in managing employee talent acquisition and growth, including recruiting, training, organizational development, and succession planning.
• Experience with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques with the ability to train and present complex information to a variety of audiences.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
• Trained in the use of employee behavioral tools and assessments.
• Strong management and leadership skills necessary to implement company policies and standards and attain company goals and objectives.
• Experienced in leading cross functional teams on key initiatives.
• Knowledge of and prior experience with budgeting process for human resources activities in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to motivate people and work in a team based environment.
• Bachelor’s degree required with Master preferred, with an emphasis on Human Resources and Organizational Development, preferably with 10 years of related experience and HR certified.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
