We help Which? to meet its strategic goals by getting the best from its investments. We’re painstaking about measuring performance and pinpointing the areas that need to work harder and we manage the payroll and collect the subscriptions that keep us viable as a consumer champion.

About the Finance Apprenticeship

You will gain a fantastic insight into the finance industry within a very specialist function. This apprenticeship will provide you with the confidence, skills and development to progress a future career.

Responsibilities include:

• Pensions administration – including updating members’ records, maintaining computerised filing systems and ensuring policies and procedures are up to date
• Financial accounting duties – including preparing monthly balance sheets control accounts and raising sales invoices
• Management Accounting – including posting Company Credit Card balance accruals at month end
• General support of the Finance Team, including raising Purchase Orders and updating intranet pages

About you

The most important thing for us is your enthusiasm and desire to learn and develop. Ideally you will have experience of using systems such as Microsoft Excel and Gmail.

You’ll be a great communicator both verbally and written.

You will enjoy completing administrative tasks and will be organised and able to prioritise your own workload effectively. You’ll relish the opportunity to use your own initiative and to work independently ensuring accuracy in all that you do.

What you can expect as a Which? Apprentice

It’s an exciting time for us as we launch our apprenticeships programme and we have many activities planned. These include comprehensive Which? onboarding and local onboarding programmes where you will get to meet other Which? Apprentices.

Additional activities include mentoring throughout your programme to provide you with support and networking events. We will also support you with study induction to help you keep on track with your qualification.

We will also help you to develop broader skills such as CV writing and interview skills as well as life skills such as, diversity and inclusion and mental health awareness. You will also have full access to LinkedIn Learning which provides learning in a broad range of subjects.

We love a celebration in Which? and we will help you celebrate keystone events as you reach different stages by organising celebratory events and sharing your stories.
