WH Trading Hiring for Trader Trainee Job at Chicago, IL Full Time

WH Trading LLC is a proprietary derivatives trading firm headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. We are a market maker and liquidity provider in global futures and options markets.

WH Trading has an immediate opening for a recent graduate for a Trader Trainee for monitoring, executing and managing algorithmic trading strategies.

Candidates for this position are not required to have prior trading experience. The successful candidate will spend several months in training, working with a senior level trader. The Trader Trainee will not initially have discretion over trading activity but will work closely with senior traders to ensure that predetermined risk parameters are strictly maintained.

This role has the potential to evolve into a more senior trading opportunity within the firm.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Quantitative and statistical knowledge and expertise
• Ability to work on a team
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-discipline
• Passion for trading
• Competitive spirit
• Experience and proficiency in programming language (R or Python) is preferred.

A Bachelor degree is required for this position. Degrees in Finance, Economics, Mathematics and Computer Science are preferred but not required.

Candidates should have valid US work authorization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
