Who We Are:

Westside Veterinary Center is an AAHA accredited practice located in the Upper West Side. We are a very busy, well- established, privately-owned general practice. In addition to being a high volume 24 hour hospital we also have a surgeon and specialists that are here throughout the week. We offer preventive care along with digital radiology and digital dental radiographs. Ideal candidates must be energetic, friendly, mature team players with excellent people skills. This position is full-time, but we are also accepting part-time and per-diem technicians as well. We value the culture of our hospital and we are looking for someone who is adaptable, positive and knowledgeable.

Requirements:

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT)

• 1 year experience (preferred)

Salary:

• Starting at $25 and up

Schedule:

• 9 hour day shifts

• 4 days a week (full-time)

• Weekends

• Holidays

• On call

• Full-time, Part-time, Per-diem

Responsibilities:

• Dental scaling and polishing

• Monitoring anesthesia

• IV cath placement

• Medical calculations

• IV, IM, SQ injections

• Triage

• Blood draws
