About the position

• *This full-time opportunity is primarily responsible for providing accounting support to the Finance Manager, as well as assisting our club operations with accounting support. Key tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Provide support to the Accountant as required
• Support Balance finance role as required
• Process general ledger journal entries
• Daily Internal Control Procedures
• Preparation of bank reconciliations
• Entry and reconciliation of daily transactions for specific sites
• Reconciliation of petty cash and internal vouchers
• Prepare Hotel Debtors reconciliations
• Reconciliation of ATM’s, Lotteries, TAB, Keno and Online sales
• Assistance with monthly account reconciliations

• Assistance with annual audit workpapers
• Assist with maintaining Asset Register and capital expenditure records
• Monitor till discrepancies

• Monitor beverage rebates

• Process prepayments
• Reconcile revenues between systems

About you

• *With a solid background in a similar position, you will be passionate about numbers, organised, proactive, and thrive in a detail orientated environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are a must, as is the ability to build relationships internally and externally. Additionally, you will have:
