WesTrac is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our team in South Guildford in a full-time capacity.

The Finance Analyst works closely with the Business Partners within the WA Dealership Commercial Finance function, overseeing routine month-end close processes and providing ad-hoc support as it relates to the function’s periodic planning and reporting processes. The successful candidate must have a basic understanding of accounting principles and developed interpersonal skills.

The duties of the role will include (but are not limited to), completing routine month-end journal and reconciliation processes, raising invoices and preparation of period reporting alongside development of insights.

This role would suit someone looking to take a first step out of professional services.

About you:

• Tertiary qualifications in Bachelor of Commerce (or similar)
• CA/CPA qualified
• A basic understanding of A-IFRS
• Experience working with high volume and complex data from multiple sources
• Highly developed attention to detail with the ability to analyse reports
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
• Advanced Excel skills
