s the Software Tester you will be joining the Systems & Digital Team within Customer Assist where your role is paramount to helping contribute the delivery of Westpac’s vision and strategic priorities. You will plan and execute the testing required for changes to be implemented in business systems and use industry standard approaches in application life cycle to maximise system benefits and minimise negative impacts. You will have a key focus on delivering timely, high quality, effective outcomes for both standalone initiatives and when contributing to large complex projects.

hat do I need?
I

deally, you will have 2+ years’ testing experience and a proven track record in the preparation and execution of test plans and evaluation and sound understanding of SDLC and test lifecycles. Your knowledge in managing workflow-based systems and experience managing information flows to and from the business both internally and externally will aid you in your success. Additionally, you may also have experience in SQL and DBMS systems, knowledge of MS SQL Server platform is preferred and the ability to identify and documents defects. Naturally, you are a brilliant communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders and forge positive working relationships in a highly collaborative and inclusive fast-past environment.
