How will I help?

This role is responsible for being a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders and quality control across a portfolio of projects within the SBD Transaction portfolio. Join the team on an 18month contract!

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Effective, quality financial management and control (accurate, timely and consistent) across multiple projects
• Proactively engage with senior management and stakeholders, providing detailed analysis and insights to support decision making, including representing projects to key stakeholders in finance community
• Review financial and non-financial results with a view to providing actionable advice and identifying business opportunities
• Guide and support Project Managers to lift financial management standards and disciplines on projects
• Ensure there is clear alignment between the financial assumptions within the project (including risks and opportunities) and the drivers feeding into the forecast
• Proactively drive the best outcomes for the Enterprise to achieve plan objectives
• Facilitate continuous improvement in the relevance and effectiveness of project financial support

What do I need?

• CA or CPA qualified
• Knowledge of finance and accounting concepts, including good understanding of project accounting
• Understands priorities and key issues across a project life-cycle
• Ability to effectively influence, negotiate and manage expectations at a senior management level
• Possesses good interpersonal skills /relationship management skills
