ow will I help?
A

s the Financial Accountant for Platforms & Investments, you will support the Finance Director, Platforms & Investments and Chief Finance Officer, BT, to ensure the efficiency and integrity of the superannuation member regulatory levy collection process.
Y

ou will be the primary Finance contact across all aspects of the collection process liaising with a broad range of internal stakeholders from Finance, Legal and Product teams. You will own the accurate and timely calculation of levies, arrange payment approvals from senior stakeholders, ensure the Group financial control framework is adhered to, prepare accurate and insightful reporting and provide input into the cyclical planning.

ey responsibilities include;
P

• repare calculations for Regulatory Change Levy (RCL) and Operational Risk Financial Requirement (ORFR) based on approved methodology and inputs provided by Project Finance and Financial Control teams;

• ctively challenge calculation assumptions and models to ensure the robustness of the levy calculation process and outcomes; and
  M
• anage the collection process including seeking endorsement and approvals of levies and ensuring appropriate financial controls are conducted.

• stablish and maintain effective consultative relationships with respective business partners (MD, CFO, Finance Directors);
  P
• repare accurate and insightful reporting around levied amounts and performance against plans and forecasts; and

• e the key source of knowledge regarding superannuation member levies and provide support to BT Finance teams as required;

hat do I need?
O

ur Financial Accountants blend technical proficiency with business partnering skills. To be successful, you will need to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and a strong data and financial modelling skillset. In addition, you will have excellent analytical skills, able to interpret complex information for presentation to a range of stakeholders in a consultative manor, using that information to make commercial and insightful recommendations. • ertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or equivalent, Professional qualifications desirable CA, CPA

• + years’ experience in an accounting environment ideally in the Banking or Wealth Management industry

• orking knowledge of TM1 and Oracle GL
  E
• xcellent financial modelling and data analysis skills
  A
• sound understanding of the wealth management industry including products, channels, performance drivers and regulatory environment
  E
• xperience working with stakeholders at CFO and Managing Director level
  D
• emonstrated ability of working in teams to achieve outcomes including with non-Finance stakeholders
