Analyst, Corporate Lending Operations (12606)
How will I Help?
As an Analyst you will be joining the Corporate Lending Operations Business Unit in the Structured Finance Middle Office Team. This team supports the Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) Structured Finance product business and client base. This team manages bespoke structured finance facilities provided to this client base which represents Australian Financial Institutions and Corporates, and a diverse range of complex processes and controls designed to:
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients in relation to all post-origination matters, work closely with the WIB stakeholders including originations, credit, finance and operations support teams to execute and implement client facility changes and requests, have strong risk management and surveillance of structured finance client receivables portfolio data and cashflow reporting to determine advance rates and funding requirements in line with client contractual requirements and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
You will monitor Trust Manager/ cashflow reporting for all client portfolios in line with contractual legal requirements, calculation of deal cashflows of special purpose entities and look at Trust Manager and Agency functions for special purpose entities managed by Westpac in structured finance deal structures which includes cashflow creation, accounting record creation for SPE liabilities and assets, and performing credit enhancement calculations.

What do I need?
You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with excellent comprehension skills having the ability to understand and interpret communication in various forms. Strong stakeholder management skills at various levels with intermediate to advanced computer literacy specially with Excel, Word and Access. You will have 1-2 years analytical skills with the ability to interrogate, interpret and assess data and articulate trends and outcomes. Trust Manager/ securitisation cashflow reporting skills is ideal as well as being able to review and interpret legal documentation.
You will be a strong team player and helpful where possible, delivering fair customer outcomes and supporting the community.
