Weston Foods Hiring for Warehouse Shipper Assistant at Langley, BC Full Time

WAGE: $20.00 / hour plus $2.00 Night Shift premium (Applicable from 9 pm -6 am)

SHIFT: Morning shift 9:00am start must be available Sunday to Friday (5 day work week) (flexibility with working overtime, and on weekends, as necessary)

Location: 5345 275 St, Aldergrove, BC

Must have reliable transportation as there is no ride share or public transit

Loading/unloading stacks of stale bread/rolls for recycling

Tray handling

Best before tagging

Covering breaks when required

About You:
Be a lover of bread and baked goods!

You have an excellent understanding of warehouse Shipping/Receiving procedures and equipment.

You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are self-reliant, and be energized by opportunities to learn and grow, and be a steward of your own career

Have solid mathematical and computer skills

Have previous experience in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing!)

Must have reliable transportation as there is no ride share or public transit

QUALIFICATIONS:
THIS POSITION IS A SHIPPER ASSISTANT

Start 8:30am to 5:00pm. Must be available Sunday to Friday (5 days per week) (Saturdays Off)

Shipping experience an asset but not required; on the job training is provided

Desire to work in a fast paced environment

Quick learner and team player and keen attention to detail

Read, write and speak English

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must have own transportation, as there are no bus routes in the area. No ride share available!
