Weston Foods Hiring for Shipper- Morning shift at Langley, BC Full Time

Wage: $22.00 / hour plus $2.00 Night Shift premium (Applicable from 9 pm -6 am)

Shift: Morning shift 4:00am/6:00am start, must be available for both times (flexibility with working overtime, and on weekends, as necessary)

Location: 5345 275 St, Aldergrove, BC

Important Note-This location does not have access to any public transit.

In a typical day, you will:
Move pallets of finished goods from staging area to the correct slot in freezer.

Organize production floor, freezer & aisles (maintain required number of trays for packaging & finished products)

Complete visual inspection of trailers and incoming ingredients to ensure it is within compliance when offloading

Pick orders and fill reefer trailer in correct order.

Inspect and receive all deliveries, ensuring all paperwork is correct and performing inventory counts

Complete all paperwork, including receiving logs and conducting food safety checks on trailer

About You:
Be a lover of bread and baked goods!

You have an excellent understanding of warehouse Shipping/Receiving procedures and equipment.

Must be comfortable working in/out of the freezer section

You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are self-reliant, and are energized by opportunities to learn and grow, and be a steward of your own career

Have solid mathematical and computer skills

Have previous experience in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing!)

Must have reliable transportation as there is no ride-share or public transit
