Weston Foods Hiring for Receiver at Langley, BC Full Time

Location- Lanlgey, BC

In a typical day you will:
Work in the warehouse and in/out of the freezer, operating a Raymond Reach Stand-up and/or Counter-Balance forklift, and pallet walk-behind.

Manage inventory using SAP-inventory management software.

Order bulk ingredients, coordinate with supplier for delivery

Work with QA, regarding COA, best before dates.

Work with materials coordinator/Production supervisors and Sap analyst on Physical inventory updates in the system.

Move pallets of finished goods from staging area to the correct slot in freezer.

Order bulk ingredients and keep a close eye on inventory/stock.

Complete visual inspection of trailers and incoming ingredients to ensure it is within compliance when offloading

Inspect and receive all deliveries, ensuring all paperwork is correct and performing inventory counts

Complete all paperwork, including receiving logs, and conducting food safety checks on the trailer

About You:
Be a lover of bread and baked goods!

You have an excellent understanding of warehouse Shipping/Receiving procedures and equipment.

You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are self-reliant, and are energized by opportunities to learn and grow, and be a steward of your own career.

Have solid mathematical and computer skills

Have a forklift Raymond Reach license, and ideally some knowledge of SAP

Have previous experience in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing!)

Should be comfortable working OT or on weekends for a few hours.
