Weston Foods Hiring for Bakery Production Mixer at Langley, BC Full Time

WAGE: $18.49 / hour plus $2.00 Shift premium for hours worked between 9:00pm and 6:00am

SHIFT: 11:30am – 7:30pm

In a typical day, you’ll:
Be responsible for equipment set-up and change overs and running production lines as needed for various food products

Read work orders and specifications to define prescribed setup operation(s)

Help troubleshoot equipment problems, and support preventative maintenance activities to reduce equipment issues and forced production stoppages

Provide input to shift action plan for their equipment area

Collaborate with engineers, supervisors and process engineers to enhance processes, procedures and training methods

Work closely with all production team members to ensure product quality

About You:
A lover of bread and baked goods!

You have strong people skills—you’re approachable, a good listener, and empathetic

You have previously worked in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing!)

You’re dedicated to the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues

You digest constructive feedback as an opportunity to listen, and improve your skills, abilities, and performance

You are someone who listens to comprehend a situation first, asking questions to clarify your own understanding, instead of listening to be able to reply quickly

Must have reliable transportation as there is no ride share or public transit
