Weston County Health Services Hiring for Patient Account Representative (FT) at Newcastle, WY Full Time

As the Patient Account Representative (PAR) – Biller, this position is responsible for submitting medical claims to Medicare and Medicaid, experience is preferred, but not required. This position is an integral part of the revenue cycle team and requires attention to detail and experience with using multiple computer software systems. The Medicare/Medicaid biller is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims using billing software including electronic and paper claim processing. Following up on unpaid claims, researching and appealing denials.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Must be able to sit at a desk while working on a computer for long periods of time. Position requires reaching bending, stooping, maximum 50 pound weight to lift and carry, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers, talking and/or hearing and seeing.
