Weston County Health Services Hiring for Information Systems Technician (FT) at Newcastle, WY Full Time

Weston County Health Services is searching for that special someone to join our Technology Team!

Maintains virtual and physical server environment as well as workstations and peripheral equipment such as firewalls, routers, switches, scanners, security cameras, paging system and printers for the facility. Assists in troubleshooting vendor supported systems, including upgrades/updates on software. Oversees IP phone systems, ensuring the facility’s needs for 24/7 communication. Performs network administration duties, setting up new staff on the network, deleted and/or disabling inactive staff from the network. Ability to be able to handle responsibilities calmly when under pressure and able to provide support to end users with patience and respect. Diligent about documentation and communication to the manager about any changes made in any of the systems to ensure cohesiveness within the computer network and I.S. Department.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Associates Degree (two year college or technical school) in Computer Science is preferred, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Must demonstrate a working knowledge of various computer systems, hardware, software, network and desktop applications.
• Experience working with all levels of personnel is a plus.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Good problem solving and organizational skills.

Position requires light to moderate work with 50 pounds maximum weight to lift and carry. It also requires reaching, bending, stooping, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers, talking and /or hearing, and seeing. Occasional after-hours calls may occur.
