MACHINE OPERATOR/BRAKE PRESS/SHEAR OPERATORS

We are currently looking for a Machine / Brake Press/ Shear Operators to work on our manufacturing floor to assist in the production of steel roofing and siding for agricultural, residential and commercial uses. The successful candidate will be an individual who is positive, dependable and highly motivated; must be organized and physically fit. Duties would include but not be limited to: operating production mills, assisting production mill operators, operating folding machines, packaging and crating of material for shipment, assisting customer pick up’s, helping to maintain equipment and ensuring a clean work environment.

This role requires:

• One to two years related experience

• Prepare and run complex bend setups and forming operations

• Able to read a tape measure, micrometers, calipers, protractors and interpret tolerances

• Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively

• Forklift and overhead crane experience an asset

• Must be available to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Strive to meet production requirements while maintaining Quality workmanship.

• Perform necessary Quality checks at work station.

• Reliable team player.

• Pays close attention to detail.
