We will be looking to you to perform due diligence for the onboarding, recertification, and periodic monitoring of Western Union agent locations on a global scale. You will have experience in analyzing large data sets, while working independently conducting complex analysis and investigations on potential and existing Western Union agents using Western Union systems as well as reviewing records from public and private databases. You will be proficient in preparing escalation reports on critical adverse findings identified for GDD Leadership & AML Compliance review using predetermined criteria to create applicable escalation summary while ensuring compliance with government regulations and securing WU AML Compliance standards, company policies and procedures. You will also develop and maintain global knowledge of Money Service Business regulatory requirements including the Bank Secrecy Act and other anti-money laundering regulations.
Degree-educated or having relevant financial services experience, you will be confident in managing and prioritizing your workload, have great IT and communication skills, an analytical mind, and an understanding of the Global Money Remittances industry. You will have strong analytical and problem solving skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and MS Access will set you up for success. You will be a relationship builder, and have experience with the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA Patriot Act, and risk-based compliance.

The annual gross base salary range is $54,875.80–$87,800.02. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
