We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Advisor to join our team at our Perth Head office on a permanent full-time basis.

About this role

This role is responsible for providing efficient and timely recruitment support to business leaders and the wider recruitment team in relation to the execution of the recruitment process including providing process efficiencies and expertise in regard to advertising, selection tools and legislative requirements.

Other key accountabilities include;

• Support leaders with their recruitment process and determine what support can be provided at specific steps of the recruitment lifecycle.
• Working within the sourcing brief provided by the HR Business Partners and coordinate the recruitment process, ensuring proactive and early identification and resolution of issues which might impact the ability of Western Power to hire the best candidate for the role.
• Complete all recruitment and on-boarding HR activities, including pre-employment coordination and completion, documentation preparation and management of the Recruitment Management System.
• Ongoing monitoring of the effectiveness of open recruitment activities, to ensure that any blocks to successful filling of roles can be addressed before they have an impact.
• Identifying ongoing process efficiencies in the recruitment process that save time or money, whilst not compromising effectiveness of recruitment outcomes.

About you

We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Previous industry experience in developing recruitment activities, working within a highly standardised process.
• Experience in high volume recruitment environments and managing campaign recruitment activities.
• High attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure compliance with key processes and data management.
• Experience in a position that involves both internal and external customer interaction and relationship management.
• Experience with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.

• Contemporary recruitment technology / systems experience required.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to use initiative
• Tertiary or progression towards a tertiary qualification with demonstrated relevant industry experience in Human Resources or related discipline
