Full Job Description
Position Summary:
The Surgery Scheduler works directly with one surgeon to schedule all procedures including appointments, diagnostics, and follow-up. The Surgery Scheduler will also be doing prior authorizations and insurance verifications in a very high-volume setting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for scheduling procedures, diagnostics, and follow-up
- Performs prior authorizations and insurance verifications
- Remaining compliant with all company policies and procedures
- May perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- 1 year of Customer Service (healthcare setting preferred)
- Experience in handling sensitive and/or confidential information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Superior attention to detail and excellent customer service
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required
