Western Maine Transportation Services Hiring for Finance Director Job at Auburn, ME Full Time

WESTERN MAINE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES (WMTS) a public transit company located in Auburn, Maine, is seeking a Finance Director to assume all finance and accounting responsibilities. This position reports to the General Manager. The successful candidate will be well versed in GAAP and will oversee payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, employee benefits and banking activities and will be responsible for preparing quarterly financial statements for the WMTS Board of Directors.

Additionally, this individual will be responsible for grants applications, audit requirements, internal control of financial procedures, monthly billing, along with periodic reporting to various State and Federal Agencies and supervision of administrative staff. The successful candidate will be joining a team oriented work environment; experience, education and attitude will be considered in selecting the next member of the WMTS team. WMTS is looking to welcome you onboard no later than mid-January 2022.
