Western Leisure Services (WLS) is a Local Government Business Enterprise established to manage three leisure facilities in Wyndham City – AquaPulse, Eagle Stadium and the Werribee Outdoor Pool. The Wyndham City Council is the sole shareholder and WLS operates independently of Council through a Board of Directors. Wyndham has experienced the largest and fastest growth in all Victorian local government areas and is the fourth fastest growing in Australia.

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and committed individual to join our People and Performance (P&P) team as a Recruitment Officer. This is a fixed term, full time position until the end of January 2022. Reporting to the P&P Manager, the Recruitment Officer will help ensure our wider teams are ready for reactivation when our facilities reopen and assist with on-going HR administration. In particular, the role is responsible for:

• Leading the WLS end to end recruitment function
• Provide expertise and support to WLS leadership in all stages of the recruitment process
• Administration and maintenance of WLS’s Recruitment system
• Preparation of HR documentation as required including, employee contracts and reports
• Develop and maintain Recruitment process and procedure documentation
• General HR administration as required

Desired Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this position, you must possess the following skills and attributes:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or working towards completion of qualifications
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work
• Experience with ELMO recruitment module or similar HRIS is highly desirable
• Systems savvy with an interest in contributing to process improvement
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
• Ability to maintain confidentiality on all HR and staff related issues
