Department

Sunshine Hospital Emergency Department continues to respond to the community’s growing needs, providing world-class medical care with the opening of a large expansion project. $34.9m has been invested for the redevelopment with an additional $60m invested for its ongoing operation. The expansion has more than doubled the department’s previous capacity and includes a refurbishment of the acute adult and children’s treatment areas as well as a new triage area, resuscitation area and medical imaging suite.

Role

This is a fixed term full time role until 30 April 2022. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of the following outputs:

• Delivering high volume, quality Emergency Department Medical, Nursing and AHP candidates
• Apply a range of sourcing techniques including both local and international recruitment strategies
• Provide advice on talent attraction and retention techniques
• Key contributor as an effective team member within the People and Culture team
• Work in collaboration with colleagues from various disciplines and functions, delivering outstanding results
• Conduct Hiring Manager briefing meetings, candidate sourcing, screening interviews, shortlisting
• Support the delivery of regular reports and statistical analysis relating to the project progress

Candidate

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following criteria:

• Experience in large scale talent acquisition projects, ideally in the health sector
• Extensive and proven recruitment experience and results
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Demonstrated capability to be creative and innovative, including sound strategic thinking, problem solving and decision making abilities
• Demonstrated ability to influence through communication, negotiation and problem solving skills
