The Organisation

Sunshine Hospital Emergency Department continues to respond to the community’s growing needs, providing world-class medical care with the opening of a large expansion project. $34.9m has been invested for the redevelopment with an additional $60m invested for its ongoing operation. The expansion has more than doubled the department’s previous capacity and includes a refurbishment of the acute adult and children’s treatment areas as well as a new triage area, resuscitation area and medical imaging suite. We are seeking an experienced an Admin/Administration Officer to join the team on a fixed term contract until 30 June 2022.

Position

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of the following outputs:

• Assist with queries relating to eRecruit and maintain talent pool allowing the Talent Acquisition experts to delivering high quality Emergency Department Medical, Nursing and AHP candidates
• Posting job adverts on Western Health careers page and other channels
• Key contributor as an effective team member within the People and Culture team
• Work in collaboration with colleagues from various disciplines and functions, delivering outstanding results
• Scheduling meetings with Hiring Manages and candidate interviews
• Support the delivery of regular reports relating to the project progress

Selection Criteria

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following criteria:

• Proficient in the use of PC Windows software and applications including MS Office suite
• Customer focused and able to develop effective relationships with key contacts
• Proven administrative experience and results
• Demonstrated capability to be creative and innovative, including problem solving and decision making abilities
• Demonstrated ability to influence through communication, negotiation and problem solving skills
