We are recruiting for a Supply Control Coordinator to be based out of our corporate office in Vancouver, British Columbia.
What You’ll Do: With the overarching objective of Defining a Higher Standard in Supply Chain, the Whitewood Supply Control Coordinator is responsible for managing our customer fulfillment objectives of 95% on time deliveries for our Whitewood mills. Working closely with mill management, the logistics team and sales personnel; the Whitewood Supply Control Coordinator will ensure production plans, order files, sales allocations and shipments are aligned to achieve key operational and financial results.

Work Environment: We are currently working in a hybrid work environment. Expectations for the time being are that this role will be working from home and will also occasionally be within the office with proper safety plans in place.
RESPONSIBILITIES
With a focus on margin, cost, and customer; key responsibilities of this position include:
Coordinate and maintain individual mill sales allocations, on ground aged inventory lists and order files to increase transparency and execution within the supply chain;
Manage wood flow, order construction and delivery plan to achieve corporate objectives;
Work with Logistics group to determine volume requirements and coordinate volumes from operations and reloads;
Work well with all stakeholders;
Assist mill production coordinators and reload operators with the efficient execution of their order file position;
Daily reports (Inventory, Sales) and others as required;
Perform other duties, projects, and assignments as needed; and,
Travel as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education And Experience
Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Logistics/Supply Chain, Wood Products Processing or related field; and,
Experience in production coordination, quality control, logistics, shipping or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Skills, Knowledge And Required Competencies
Proficient in Microsoft Excel;
Exceptional time-management skills, and the ability to excel under the pressure of deadlines;
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, and react to changing conditions;
Ability to interpret data and information to draw key message and key action; and,
Continuous process improvement mindset.
