Western Express Hiring for Load Securement Instructor at Nashville, TN Full Time

In this position, you will assist new and current drivers on all aspects of flatbed load securement per FMCSA guidelines and Western Express requirements. This is a driver facing role, and you will be expected to live out our number one core value of being driver friendly. In this role, you will provide support not only for the drivers but for the entire orientation program and are expected to have excellent customer service skills. Job Responsibilities :

• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions when safe to do so

• Provide instruction and guidance to new and current drivers on all aspects of flatbed load securement per FMCSA and Western Express requirements

• Specific areas of training will include and not limited to:

Inspection of Cargo
Working Load Limits (Chains, Nylon Straps, Rope,)
Coils, Lumber, Pipe, Containers, Wire, Rebar, Sheet rock
Tarping
Job site and workplace safety
Customer policies and procedures
Qualifications:

• To follow a structured, organized and efficient plan that provides a better experience for every driver

• Strong organizational skills required
