About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Finance Clerk to join our Finance and Administration team at WDHS.
This position will see the successful applicant ensure the maintenance and accuracy of the Western District Health Service Asset Register and administration of capital works purchasing.
Duties will include, but not be limited to also, the preparation of monthly financial reports on the progress of the capital works program accurately in a timely manner. You will also assist the Manager Payroll with processing of staff payroll information for Western District Health Service and its bureau service activities and be responsible for the efficient processing and payment of supplier invoices and payment requests into Western District Health Services nominated software accounting package.
Reconcile supplier’s statements to the information held within the Western District Health Services nominated software accounting package on a monthly basis, following up discrepancies and making any required adjustments. Prepare entries for the General Ledger relating to assets and accounts payable transactions. In conjunction with all members of the Finance team ensure the highest quality customer service is provided to suppliers and other hospital staff by attending to enquiries in a prompt, efficient and friendly manner.
