General Description:
Sanding and prepping material for painting.

Spraying paint onto wood door surfaces.

Work is performed in a heated environment and use of a respirator is required.

Work in a safe manner and follow safe work practices and policies. Help ensure co-workers are working safely and following safety requirements.

Support and participate in Employee Engagement activities.

Participate in defining and improving standard work to improve quality windows for our customers.

Assist with training co-workers.

Perform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or management.

Perform housekeeping duties as needed.

Assist and cover for other workers in different areas as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Six months of previous paint experience considered an asset.

Experience in using gravity fed paint guns and a kremlin is an asset.

Previous experience applying water-based paints.

Dependability/punctuality.

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Basic reading and math skills are required

Ability to lift 50 pounds is preferred.

Perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and stand for long periods.

Possess communication, teamwork, problem solving, and leadership skills.

Detail oriented.
