To better meet the needs in our communities we are expanding our services and programs and are in need of highly dedicated Marketing and Communications professional to share these services with our community. In this position, the incumbent will have the opportunity to build and shape the marketing and public relations program with the guidance of the executive staff. The position is responsible for the coordination of the agency’s communication functions including networking, marketing, event planning, and agency communications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging written and visual content for agency social media accounts, print, and radio
• Respond to and engage followers of agency online
• Implement social media marketing strategies to increase agency exposure and program growth
• Chair and facilitate agency marketing and outreach committees
• Create, proofread, and distribute digital marketing materials to interdepartmental teams and clients
• Work collaboratively with clinical departments to schedule and conduct educational, awareness, and advocacy events
• Develop and produce podcast and digital media according to plan/schedule
• Encourage and promote internal communication and employee engagement
• Track and on activities and marketing related analytics
• Represent agency during company and community events
• Maintain marketing database
• Continuously evaluate, fine-tune, and evolve WHS’s marketing and communications efforts
• Interactions required with executives, company peers, board members, and state legislative representatives

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or a related field
• Three years of relevant experience (experience can be internship and capstone related)
• Experience generating marketing materials supporting print, digital, and operations
• Proven experience/education with photography/videography including software utilized for editing
• Non-profit experience is a plus
• Experience with Social Media algorithms and use of social media business accounts and E-mail marketing tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $42,500.00 per year
