25 hours per week – Permanent

Salary: £25,584 per annum – £38,058 per annum (Actual Salary £18,274 per annum – £27,184 per annum )

West Suffolk College is one of the country’s leading further education and apprenticeship providers. Our apprenticeship results have consistently remained above the national average. We offer many degrees, HNCs and HNDs at our focused and inclusive University Studies Centre. We have around 13,000 students including nearly 2,000 apprentices studying with us.

We are looking to appoint an individual from the Business Finance and Accountancy sector who would like to pass on their expertise and knowledge to our students. As a Lecturer, you will be required to teach and assess on a range of programmes. You will participate in the development of existing and new course programmes and contribute to curriculum planning and materials development.

With a degree in Business/Finance or related subject, or an equivalent relevant professional qualification, the successful candidate will possess a student-centred mindset, and will be passionate about encouraging aspirations, particularly within the 16 – 19 year old age group. A recognised teaching qualification is desirable, as is knowledge of the demands of Further Education.
