The Trust Central Team currently has the following job vacancy:

Finance Assistant Post to start as soon as possible (Maternity cover, in the first instance)

Working hours: 25 hours per week, all year round.

Rate of pay: Somerset Pay Spine Grade 13, Point 11 (£11.27 an hour)

Work Location: Whilst the primary location will be the Trust offices at Minehead Middle School you may be required to visit other settings across the Trust and therefore the ability to drive would be desirable.

Some flexible working can be negotiated. We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated and experienced Finance Assistant to join our central team. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, be numerically confident, and have excellent attention to detail. Key responsibilities will include raising invoices and ensuring that income due is collected promptly, managing Early Years Funding, maintaining accurate and up to date accounting records and promptly and professionally responding to queries in the first instance or escalating them to the Trust Finance Manager where appropriate.
