About your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager – Tax and Reporting this role will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the organisations statutory and management reports

Some of the key tasks associated with this role include:

• Perform month end close procedures
• Prepare FBT, BAS,IAS and Income Tax returns for the group
• Ensure that all corporate compliance activity associated with statutory bodies is performed in an accurate manner, reviewed and submitted on time.
• Assist with the preparation of the half-yearly and annual statutory reports.
• Review GL account reconciliations and take appropriate action to maintain the accuracy of the balance sheet.
• Perform variance analysis and commentary

About You

The successful candidate for this role will be some one who looks beyond the reported numbers, have a curious mindset to analyse the data produced. This role will have a high level of exposure to the Executive Leadership Team, therefore experience managing senior stakeholders is preferred. This role will suit a CA qualified second mover.

• You will be CA qualified
• You will have 5-7 years experience in a similar technical accounting role and have worked in an ASX Listed environment
• You will have experience within a fast paced environment.
• Can demonstrate sound system skills particularly with MS Excel and has previous exposure to a mid tier ERP systems.
• Interpersonally, you communicate in a professional and transparent style and present yourself in a corporate manner. You will see yourself as a true business partner and thrive in a stakeholder driven environment.
