Job Summary:
In this role, you will provide expertise and support to the business functions, departments, Managers and employees on learning and development projects, closely collaborating with all teams across the business, delivering a broad range of professional learning initiatives while ensuring continuous improvement, review and analysis of all learning and development programmes. Additionally, you will be required to support employee engagement, compensation and benefits and recruitment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the HR Manager UK and the business as appropriate with the implementation of ‘global’ / ‘regional’ and key ‘local’ HR projects and initiatives.
Support the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages and understand e-learning techniques.
Perform effective and appropriate evaluation of all training programmes delivered.
Drive and support a consistent training approach across the business including record keeping and reporting.
Keep up to date/be knowledgeable on new technologies in workplace learning initiatives via professional networking & research.
Liaising with key stakeholders across the business in the coordination of learning initiatives.
Provide advice, guidance, and support to key stakeholders on all aspects of Learning & Development.
Develop a digital learning skillset to enable creation of digital learning initiatives.
Present to relevant Business functions on learning and development initiatives.
Consult with key stakeholders to interpret results of delivery.
Present at key business meetings, functions and events on L&D best practice and status updates.
Perform additional duties and/or assist with ad-hoc projects at the request of direct supervisor.
Assist with the recruitment and selection for all hourly positions (screening, interviews, aptitude tests, references, medicals, offers etc.). Support the recruitment process for all other roles within the organization as needed.
Assist with employee on-boarding, ensuring robust induction and training plans are in place for all new hires.
Support with the identification and development of talent for succession planning and career path development.
Support the development of training material and competency-based assessments and requalification process if required to ensure training deliverables and competency of trainees.
Maintenance and continuous improvement of the HR software systems to include liaison with the relevant software suppliers and corporate IT eg (SAP HC, ADP, WTG, HR Sharepoint etc).
Act in accordance with the Company’s Guiding Principles and adherence to the corporate Code of Conduct.
Compliance to all local site Environmental, Health and Safety regulations.
Compliance to all local site company policies, procedures and corporate policies.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum Degree in HR or training and development discipline.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Self-motivated individual with a passion for and key interest in career development within Learning & Development
Experience in the area of learning and development, minimum of one year.
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work well within teams and independently.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Strong customer focus mind set
Experience with on-boarding new hires an advantage.
High level of personal resilience, able to remain highly effective and flexible in changing business circumstances
Experience with e-learning software tools an advantage.
Knowledge of Med-tech environment and products an advantage.
Strong administration & analytical skills and ability to multitask.
Knowledge of LMS (SuccessFactors) an advantage.
Proven ability to work in a busy and deadline orientated environment
Excellent communication skills
Self-starter
Ability to work on own initiative, pro-active
Strong competence in IT.
