You will be working within the Development team in our Delivery Management function alongside a committed and enthusiastic team of other developers. You’ll receive support from other Software Developers, Senior Software Developers and managers across the Delivery function.
You will be responsible for the development of highly functional web solutions, used by our front-line officers, specialist support staff and corporate users. There will be an expectation for you to have a broad range of knowledge both in terms of existing technologies already in use as well as alternative methods which could bring about service improvement.Working within the IT & Digital Team is rewarding; we offer the opportunity to work in a large organisation where people can develop their skills, knowledge and careers in an encouraging and flexible environment. We’d really welcome your application if:
- You have the ability to develop software both independently and as part of a team of developers
- You have the ability to develop a solution against a set of prescribed requirements
- You are able to debug existing applications and implement fixes in order to deliver an improved solution and service
- You have knowledge and experience of C# web solution development, using .NET Core with MVC or Razor Pages, bootstrap, and React
- You have knowledge and experience of creating REST APIs using C# .NET Core WebAPI and can help us deliver our mobile apps by creating supporting services
