Permanent, 35 hours per week

Salary: Grade 5 (Points 22 to 27) (£29,201 to £33,753 per annum subject to pending job evaluation)
This is an exciting opportunity to work as key member of the College’s HR and People Development team providing efficient and effective comprehensive HR services.
This role will ideally suit a highly motivated and proactive individual who has credibility working at all levels in an organisation. You will operate as a business partner working closely with managers of your designated areas, understanding their business and taking ownership of delivering a highly effective HR service.
You will provide expert advice, guidance and pro-active support to managers across a range of employee relations issues including disciplinary and grievance procedures, performance and absence management procedures and conditions of service. You will support the resourcing requirements for designated areas and will be involved in policy development and ongoing HR and People Development projects.
You will have considerable experience working in a Human Resources environment with a minimum of two years at HR Business Partner/Advisor level. You should be qualified to SCQF Level 9 (degree or equivalent) and possess a professional HR qualification, or the equivalent e.g. Associate Membership of the CIPD. Experience working within a unionised organisation would be advantageous.
You will possess highly developed influencing and internal consultancy skills and will be able to positively challenge colleagues at all levels of the organisation. You will have significant case management experience and an excellent working knowledge of employment law. You will have first-rate verbal and written communication skills.
