West Coast University Hiring for Interim – Director, Experiential Education Job at Los Angeles, CA Full Time

Under the direction/supervision of the Assistant Dean, Experiential Education, the Director, Experiential Education functions within the Office of Experiential Education. The Director, Experiential Education is responsible for the overseeing the development, delivery, maintenance, and quality assurance of the Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPE). The Director, Experiential Education assists the Assistant Dean, Experiential Education with various aspects of the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE). The Director, Experiential Education additionally assists in refining experience specific Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) for IPPEs and assures that designated practice sites achieve these CLOs for all students. Manages all operational aspects of IPPE. Develops effective continuous quality improvement initiatives associated with IPPEs and the successful implementation of these initiatives to ensure ongoing IPPE preceptor and practice site development. Assists the Assistant Dean, Experiential Education in the overall coordination and management of the Office of Experiential Education.

EDUCATION:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) combined with experiential education experience preferred

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

Current CA Pharmacists licensure in good standing.

Current Driver’s License.
