Wescot Hiring for Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant Job at Remote Full Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist who will support the Head of Recruitment in the Management of vacancies across the group and be accountable for members of the Talent Acquisition team. This role will provide a high level of service to both internal and external customers and ensure a positive experience for all candidates. This role will be working from home but with expected flexibility to travel across our locations as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the end-to-end recruitment cycle across a variety of roles and levels of seniority
• Maintain expected team standards and ensure best practice people management by conducting or guiding all people management related activity including probation reviews, performance reviews, HR activity in accordance with Company policy.
• Coach and develop the skills of the Talent Acquisition team
• Communicate effectively with the team delivering regular briefings and leading meetings to ensure business information is delivered in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Contribute to Talent projects such as supporting with partnership / employer brand opportunities
• Contribute to the development of the Employer Brand and Employee Value proposition; producing assets and attending any events or networking to support candidate attraction
• Support with the development and execution of a recruitment social media plan and design engaging recruitment communications in collaboration with the Communications team to ensure we are regularly showcasing our culture and employer brand
• Support with developing recruitment materials for the Group, such as interview templates, assessment centre materials and candidate packs, ensuring they are regularly updated and fit for purpose
• Built and maintain strong relationships with HRSS, supporting them where required with the onboarding of candidates
• Devising and Reporting on recruitment data and metrics
• Keep up to date with recruitment trends and technologies by attending conferences, seminars and networking events

Key Tasks

• Establish strong relationships with line managers and support them with their recruitment needs
• Responsible for supporting recruitment within the business including;
  • Creating and placing f internal and external adverts
  • Screening f candidate applications according to business criteria using direct sourcing as preference
  • Liaising and managing preferred recruitment agencies if required and ther recruitment sources to maintain a pipeline of talented candidates
  • Develpment and facilitation of assessment centres
• Use a range of techniques including direct advertising, social media, headhunting and recruitment agencies to attract high caliber candidates
• Coordinate interviews, ensuring candidates are appropriately briefed
• Learn the content management system for the ATS and website and ensure content and vacancies are regularly updated
• Ensuring adherence to the Group Vacancy Authorisation Matrix, including ensuring all contractors are compliant with IR35 legislation
• Where required, support the wider recruitment team with their recruitment activity
• Provide holiday cover for the Head of Recruitment and other members of the wider recruitment team where required
• Manage change positively and promote continuous improvement by recommending changes that will improve results whilst retaining employee commitment.

Knowledge & Experience

• Experience in either an Internal Recruitment or Recruitment Consultant role
• Experience in recruiting within a wide scope of roles
• Experience of interviewing / pre-screening candidates and demonstrating good judgement
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively
• Good commercial knowledge of a financial services / call center environment desirable
• Assessment centre &/or other recruitment experience
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Strong Microsoft skills
• Proactive, resilient and solutions focused with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Standard working hours are 9-5; however, the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to work outside of these hours depending on stakeholder and candidate availability
