Wescot Hiring for Recruitment Assistant Job at Remote Full Time

We are currently looking for a Recruitment Assistant to join our team to help provide proactive recruitment assistance and support to the recruitment team and internal customers.

This role can be performed remotely, however must be within commuteable distance to one of our offices; Kingston Upon Hull, Bolton, Glasgow or Saltcoats. This position is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. £20,000 per annum

How your day could look:

• Administer new vacancies from obtaining and processing formal requisitions and role profiles to coordinating adverts for sign off.

• Posting advert vacancies through appropriate internal and external channels.

• Build and maintain close partnerships with agencies, local training and education providers.

• Act as an Ambassador for the Employer Brand at all times.

• Collate applications for provision to recruiting managers and coordinate the receipt of feedback and onwards delivery to applicants.

• Coordinate assessment processes, facilitation of assessments and ensuring adequate assessors, rooms and resources.

• Telescreen potential candidates and provide feedback to recruitment team.

• Organising interviews for the recruitment team.

• Participate within assessments by scribing at interviews and group exercises

• Deliver candidate feedback and make offers in accordance with Company processes.

• Assist admin with pes when required to ensure demands met

• Support the preparation and attendance of local jobs fairs.

• Coordinate work placements, agree arrangements with education providers and facilitate.

• Collate robust MI to ensure data can easily be retracted by HOR.

• Utilise our in house applicant tracking system to ensure all candidate data captured.

What we need from you:

• Proven experience in a recruitment role, ideally within a contact centre environment

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent planning and organisational skills

• Customer focused approach

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Evidence of working to tight deadlines and delivering results under pressure

• Fully competent with Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel

• Integrity, flexibility and a ‘can do’ attitude are essential

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm however we do require some flexibility to ensure business needs are met.
