Job Overview

The Admin Assistant will primarily to the Operations Manager and will provide support for the finance and operations team. To summarize, the specific duties of this position will be to answer all incoming phone calls and forward to appropriate people, perform multiple tasks from the finance and operations team, including data entry and social media marketing, help keep the office tidy and clean, and also well stocked with basic necessities (cleaning supplies, bathroom supplies, and other general office supplies). All employees must act with urgency, accountability, and flexibility to ensure Wescom’s core values are always followed.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide support to office staff and management for ordering stock items, entering purchase orders, and other duties as assigned.
• Assist the finance department and operations team with data entry, cost tracking, and other miscellaneous documentation.
• Assist the sales and marketing team with social media marketing, signage, and other forms of marketing
• Assist with human resource tasks, onboarding and offboarding, etc.
• Communicate to employees, management and clients with cheerfulness and a willingness to help.
• Be an active safety role model and follow all safety requirements.
• Review work completed by other members of the AR team to ensure accurate invoicing and description to clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with Associates in Accounting preferred.
• Willingness and desire to learn and be trained.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office with Excel required and preference for QuickBooks accounting software.

Salary

$22.00 / hour + DOE

Hours

Expect 40 hours a week with a start time of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM M-F with occasional overtime as needed.
