Audit & Assurance Associate
Wendling Noe Nelson & Johnson LLC is a Certified Public Accounting firm with approximately 30 employees. We are seeking an Audit & Assurance Associate to join our team! You will be involved in delivering high quality services to our clients primarily in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of risk assessment and audit planning programs

Conducting audit procedures to ensure client financial statements are fairly presented in conformity with applicable standards

Preparation of work paper documentation, conducting analytical reviews and creation of draft audit reports

Communicating with client personnel of all levels

Assisting with consulting as projects are requested

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting

1 plus years of public accounting experience

CPA or working towards certification

Effective communication skills both written and oral

Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment

Experience working independently on multiple assignments or engagements

Proven problem solving and analytical skills

Ability to manage due dates and prioritization of work

Proficient with technology such as Excel, Word, Adobe, Monarch and Outlook

Ability to travel to client locations to perform work as needed

You will be provided with high quality training and opportunities to work directly with senior level management to further develop your audit and assurance skills. Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
