Responsibilities

The Mentoring & Career Development Program Manager is responsible for developing the strategies for mentoring
and career development including career paths, employee and manager career management and mentoring tools &
methodologies, annual process tools/methodologies, and associated metrics and standards.
The Program Manager is responsible for the development of the enterprise mentoring program. Responsible for
developing tools and materials in support of the mentoring program, establishing mentoring systems/processes
organization-wide, and owning and driving a communications strategy in support of mentoring organization-wide.
Collaborates with performance management and leadership development COEs to ensure a seamless employee
career development and mentoring program experience. Leads enterprise-wide program communication and
engagement strategy. Partners with external vendors to design, develop and deliver development-focussed
programs and experiences.
Communicates effectively in small and large group settings in all forms and at all levels in a professional manner;
develops and delivers presentations, facilitates workshops and discussions. Uses subject matter/functional
expertise, assessments and process skills to help internal customers and stakeholders identify learning and career
development opportunities.


Qualifications


Required Minimum Education: Master’s degree required, preferably in Organizational Development, Human
Resource Management, Adult Education or related field.

Required Minimum Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in professional/career development, learning &
development, organizational development, adult education or a related field; Experience in a complex multi-site
organization in an intermediate to large size organization (5,000 to 10,000 FTE’s). Healthcare experience preferred.

Required Minimum Skills: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Mentoring Program Management, Career
Development, Learning & Development, HR Consulting, and/or Career Development
