We are seeking a highly motivated recruiting professional to join our Wells Fargo Military Talent Strategic Sourcing team focused on the execution and support of Wells Fargo’s military talent attraction initiatives. As a subject matter expert in the fields of recruiting, military, and diversity, this senior recruiter will be responsible for proactively sourcing, assessing, and recruiting top military talent for Wells Fargo while bringing a passion for military talent to work every day.

The TA Sourcing Consultant is a strategic partner to the Wells Fargo Talent Acquisition Strategy and Delivery Team (TASD) and provides expert guidance on all aspects of the military and veteran hiring, with a special connection into the Lines of Business (LOB). Having proven knowledge of Wells Fargo business operations as well as a working understanding of transitioning military and national veteran sourcing activities, they will be committed to meeting the annual aspirational goal for military hiring set by the OFCCP. The right candidate will have strong ties to Wells Fargo and the ability to translate military skills into our corporate positions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Increase the number of military talent candidates being hired at Wells Fargo through strategic sourcing, candidate advocacy and LOB consulting
• Provide job coaching and support to current Wells Fargo veterans seeking career guidance, and advocate for veterans impacted by reductions in force through career matching activities.
• Partner with members of Military Talent Events and Programs, Wells Fargo National Partnership and Programs, and Targeted Sourcing Teams on military early (Undergraduate/MBA hire) talent, lateral (experienced hire) talent, and transitioning military program initiatives and projects in order to maximize the pipeline of qualified military talent applicants with the goal of turning applicants into hires.
• Manage the recruiting for all veteran programs including the VET Program, Apprenticeships, Boots2Banking, and other programs to be developed. Serving as recruiting POC for at least one program.
• Consult with multiple Lines of Business (LOBs) TASD team members on qualified leads and bring hiring needs to the team.
• Report metrics to track overall hiring activity progress and event ROI.
• Support work with Veteran Serving Organizations (VSOs) to attract their veteran clients into Wells Fargo positions.
• Through effective consulting, support veteran hiring initiatives across all LOBs to include: participating in needs assessment with recruiting managers and/or LOB recruiters when required, marketing roles to pipelined candidates, coordinating pipeline management with Military Talent Coordinator and participating in projects when required.
• Connect with recruiters and advocate on behalf of veterans that have applied to their position (translate resume/provide talking points to help “sell” value of veterans).
• Assist recruiters to better understand military terminology/skillset.
• Partner with other LOB recruiters and personnel through relationship building to connect to enterprise veteran’s strategy as well as share candidates across the enterprise functions.
• Deliver training and education for team members, especially TASD, to increase the awareness of the needs of the military diversity dimension. This includes ownership of Recruiter Boot Camps and any train the trainer materials.
• Maintain recruiter recognition programs to increase recruiter engagement in veteran hiring.
• Develop Hot Jobs list in connection with LOB TASD team

Preference is for the selected candidate to work within a specific Wells Fargo location: Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; Dallas, TX; Irving, TX; San Antonio, TX; Minneapolis, MN; St. Louis, MO; Atlanta, GA; Phoenix, AZ; Chandler, AZ; Des Moines, IA. Other locations may be considered. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: recruiting, sourcing, or human resources demonstrated through work or military experience

• Knowledge and understanding of HR policies, practices and procedures, including an understanding of legal and OFCCP recruiting requirements
• Ability to deliver a positive and engaging candidate experience for internal and external candidates throughout the hiring and onboarding process

• Ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner

• Strong analytical skills with ability to turn findings into executable plans to meet business objectives
• Ability to create and deliver dynamic presentations
• Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills

Other Desired Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience recruiting for military or veteran professionals gained through military experience
• Proven sourcing abilities using a variety of vehicles and tools
• Networking experience within a variety of internal and external diversity organizations to drive diverse and military hiring results
• Previous Military service at the rank of E5 or above
• 2+ years Wells Fargo specific recruiting experience, human resources consulting experience or a combination of both
