Wells Fargo Hiring for Finance Analyst – Markets Expense Analytics Job at Charlotte, NC Full Time

Wells Fargo is seeking a Finance Analyst to help our Markets team focus on expense initiatives.

In this role, you will:

• Be a partner to the desk managing their expenses
• Perform detailed review of direct and indirect expenses, headcounts; identify and track expense initiatives
• Develop expense reporting and key metrics to measure and report progress
• Perform detailed review of direct and indirect expenses, headcounts; identify and track expense initiatives
• Review expense management performance with the desks; connect the usage market data, brokerage costs, tech and human resources with revenue and go forward strategic plan
• Present recommendations for resolving all aspects of delivering key forecasting projections as well as financial reporting
• Develop expertise on reporting that meets brand standards and internal control standards
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Business acumen in investment banking, strategy, or related role covering the financial services industry (in particular, the banking industry)
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively build and maintain partnership with key stakeholders and partners
• Experience in developing financial projections and establishing financial goals
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to ramp up quickly on new technology, including understanding databases of large datasets and dashboard design
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills (strong understanding of Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
• Outstanding problem solving skills
• Ability to synthesize and effectively communicate complex financial concepts to a variety of audiences through excellent written and presentation skills
• Ability to perform well under pressure
