The Affirmative Acton Consultant must be capable of consulting effectively with all levels in the organization leveraging data to recommend action. It requires someone who, at a time of significant change at Wells Fargo and HR, will thrive in this environment and position Affirmative Action as a critical partner to HR teams. A key differentiator will be the ability to partner with multiple stakeholder groups, operate effectively in a highly evolving and complex environment with a positive outlook. The role requires a highly motivated employee who will has a genuine interest in advancing our DE&I efforts as a company, ensuring appropriate controls are in place, mitigating risks and providing expertise to internal partners.

• Consults with business line leadership, Talent Acquisition, and other partners on annual affirmative action results and areas of underutilization
• Responsible for managing designated affirmative action plans and establishing strategies for addressing affirmative action goals
• Develops approach for addressing identified issues, influences performance enhancements for goal progress, and consults on action plans.
• Assesses program effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements, implements corrective action, and escalates issues to Risk and Compliance as necessary
• Ensures alignment between Affirmative Action programs and enterprise Diversity Equity and Inclusion priorities
• Proactively works with Business leaders, Talent Acquisition partners on recruiting diversity strategies, including participation in outreach programs for diverse segments.
• Leverage and utilize data to identify areas of opportunity to make progress on Affirmative Acton goals
• Partners with internal and external resources for OFCCP audit and regulatory matters
• May develop and conduct affirmative action training
• Works collaboratively with cross functional teams

Salary range is determined by the location of the job. May be considered for discretionary bonus.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity administration, or human resources demonstrated through work or military experience

Desired Qualifications

• Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
• Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
• Ability to identify inefficiencies, opportunities to streamline business processes, and implement change
• Military experience in personnel benefits management, processing military personnel orders or transitions, wartime readiness operations, human resources or military recruiting

Other Desired Qualifications

• Demonstrated consulting experience with business line leadership, Talent Acquisition, or other partners on HR programs and strategies such as recruiting, compensation, metrics/reporting, employee relations, organization effectiveness, diversity or AA/EE programs.
• Experience developing and executing strategies or action plans that provide performance enhancements for goal progress
• Experience assessing program effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational, multi- tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with business partners and project managers
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
